 | Grades will be based on your performance on the
two
unit tests (25%), the WEB cards, "in-class" discussions, exercises or quizzes
(25%),
the final exam (25%) and two short papers or one
longer research paper (25%).
Papers will be assessed using the General
Education Rubric.

| Grades will be assessed on a point system as each
test
and paper will be worth a specific number of points (80-140).
WEB cards will count for 5 points each. In class exercises
and quizzes will vary in the number of points.

| These will be totaled at the mid-term and the end
of the semester and letter grades assigned.

| Contributions to class discussions and
attendance will also be taken into consideration .
