Children’s art
project at MD Anderson cancer center
The
project was originally called the Children’s Christmas Card Project
because in 1973 a volunteer made a comment to one of the children saying,
“That’s pretty good to be a Christmas card.” The mission of the project
is to generate revenue to enhance patient services through products
created with children’s art. This project was extended, and now they have
two product lines, cards and gift products.
