Organizations for people with disabilities There are a large number of organizations throughout the world that work with disabled people, whether they have a physical or mental disorder. They are usually funded by the government or a charity that has been touched by a disabled individual in a profound way. The benefactors and workers of this center are people who have had a family member with a disability. Here are a few: Father Damien foundation, MD Anderson Cancer Center, MDA Muscular Dystrophy Association, Community living Ontario, and VSA Vision, Strength and Artistic Expression.
