The minor arts include jade, enamels, and lacquer.  Bronze is an alloy of copper and tin, jade is a green mineral prized for jewelry, enamel is a glassy substance applied to pottery and metalware, and lacquer is a varnish made with natural or synthetic resins used to cover decorative work.  The items that are often made of these art forms are jars, figurines, dishes, toilet boxes, buddhas, ritual blocks, ornaments, bowls, wine beakers, cups, and rocks (Sullivan).
